Central Transport, one of the nation’s most technologically advanced less-than-truckload (LTL) carriers announces the completion of multiple facility enhancements.
In line with a consistent focus on infrastructure investment, the Company has recently completed significant structural enhancements to two terminals. The St. Louis, Missouri facility had the entire dock releveled and epoxied, as well as new parking lot pads being laid to support the new equipment investments. Accordingly, the Saginaw, Michigan terminal has recently been upgraded to include a newly paved parking lot, new security gates, new dock plates, dock doors, as well as a new office on the dock for improved operation.
The capital improvements go hand in hand with the more than 1600 new Peterbilt, International Transtar and Freightliner tractors purchased in 2015 – 2016 and multiple new facility openings.
